A candidate in the running to be Hampshire’s first mayor has launched a petition calling for government to go back on its decision to delay polling day.

The event recognises individuals and organisations from the public, private and voluntary sectors who go above and beyond to help keep communities safe.

The UK Partners Against Crime app — now being rolled out on the Isle of Wight — lets shop staff instantly log thefts, upload CCTV and photos, and alert other stores.

Donna Jones, Conservative candidate for Mayor of Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, has voiced concerns over potential delays to local elections.

The most common topics included e-scooters, speeding, rural crime, knife crime and the role of the PCC. Questions also covered officer integrity and recruitment.

The unit is now using drones, mobile ANPR cameras and daily patrols in hotspot areas to track offenders.
