Police have launched enquiries after a man’s body was discovered on a footpath near the beach in Binstead.

Police closed off access to Players Beach in Binstead while dealing with an incident.

A woman was airlifted to the mainland after the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance landed at Binstead Golf Course to respond to a serious medical emergency on Saturday.
