A major fundraising boost has been handed to WightAID after The Wight Brand presented a cheque for £12,453 to chair Geoff Underwood.

Two Island charities supporting families in crisis and women in vulnerable situations have received major funding in WightAID’s final round of grants for the year.

It was sunshine, music, and generosity all round as WightAID’s summer garden party raised an incredible £40,000.
