A medical emergency onboard Wightlink's Victoria of Wight has led to delays of up to an hour on the Portsmouth-Fishbourne route this afternoon.

The port has been evacuated and closed to all access, and Gunwharf Road has also been closed while police and emergency services respond.

Wightlink says all customers with affected bookings have already been contacted, and signage will be displayed to help direct vehicles to the alternative terminal.
