Thirty-two Wightlink FastCat crossings between Ryde Pier Head and Portsmouth Harbour have been cancelled this weekend because of a mechanical fault on Wight Ryder.

The disruption affects services on Saturday 22 August and Sunday 23 August, with 16 sailings in each direction withdrawn across the two days.

Cancelled sailings

From Portsmouth Harbour

10:45, 11:45, 12:45, 13:45, 14:45, 15:45, 16:45 and 17:45 on both days.

The 18:15 departure is still expected to run.

11:15, 12:15, 13:15, 14:15, 15:15, 16:15, 17:15 and 18:15 on both days.

Wightlink says passengers booked on the affected crossings have been contacted and moved onto alternative sailings where possible.

Wightlink has apologised for the disruption and thanked customers for their patience.
