The CEO of Visit Isle of Wight is calling for urgent action over what’s described as a growing crisis caused by poorly coordinated roadworks.

Their request comes as a major scheme to replace gas mains in and around Binstead Road gets underway this week.

Roadworks on Horsebridge Hill on the Isle of Wight are now expected to finish earlier than planned.
