Vectis Ventures Director Hopes To Bring Opportunities To Island After Joining National Board

Vectis Ventures Parks Director Dominic Wray has been voted onto the British Association of Leisure Parks, Piers and Attractions (BALPPA) Management Committee.

Vectis Ventures is the company behind Robin Hill and Blackgang Chine.

Wray was voted onto the committee by peers from BALPPA, which has members from some of the biggest attractions in the country, including Paultons Park and Merlin.

He will now have input into the strategic direction of the group, which it's hoped will open further opportunities for the Island as a whole.

He said:

“I couldn’t be happier to have been voted onto the committee.

"It means a lot to know that our business is being recognised within the industry and I’m keen to explore opportunities it will open up for us.”

The news comes with Blackgang Chine entering its 180th year, which will see a season long celebration and opening of a brand new ride.

Robin Hill will also welcome a new attraction in addition to welcoming back its annual headline music events.
