Top Trumps: Isle Of Wight Voice Actor Wins National Awards

A voice actor from the Isle of Wight has won a prestigious national award.

Emma Topping was nominated from over 4,000 entries in the One Voice Awards 2023, known as the industry’s leading awards for voice actors.

Since launching her company in December 2021,  Emma has voiced many commercials for TV and radio, along with corporate video narration for global clients including Netflix, Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Fed Ex and more.

She also produces on-hold phone messages for businesses across the UK.

The “One Voice” award recognises her narration fore-learning courses for national company Navitas Safety.

The award was presented by Peter Dickson, the brand voice of The X-Factor and Britain’s Got Talent, at a blacktie dinner attended by the industry’s leading voice artists.

During the evening, actor, comedian and impressionist Jon Culshaw, was presented with the Voiceover Legend award.

"I’m hugely grateful to be rewarded in this way for doing a job that I really enjoy!”
