To enter, simply send your photos to us via our WhatsApp link (or send your messages directly on WhatsApp to 01983 822002 if easier) to be in with a chance of winning this incredible experience.

The Isle of Wight Festival takes place from Thursday June 15 until Sunday June 18.

The deadline for entries is 8am on Monday (May 22) and John will announce the winner on Tuesday's breakfast show.

The successful entrant will also have their photo included in the Dimbola summer show, which opens on Saturday May 27 and runs until Sunday September 17.

The original IW Festivals took place in 1968, 1969 and 1970, before a 32-year hiatus (the 'Isle of Wight County Council Act 1971 prevented crowds of more than 5,000 people in one place on the Island.)

The Isle of Wight Festival returned in 2002 and has been a staple of the summer season ever since.

Experience The Isle of Wight Festival 2002-2023 includes a myriad of dazzling snapshots of the event since its rebirth until present day.

The man behind the festival's renaissance, John Giddings, said:

"If you had told me in 2002 we would still be doing it in 21 years, I would have laughed.

"We managed to lose a million pounds in the first two years but broke even with The Who and David (Bowie) in 2004.

“This exhibition is to celebrate what we have achieved, and to get some money for Dimbola – a cause close to my heart."

The gallery below shows just a few of the images which will be on display at Dimbola:

Regarding the opportunity to win tickets, John told Isle of Wight Radio:

"We'd like people to send pictures which sum up the great atmosphere of the festival.

"Send in a picture — something appropriate as opposed to some of the entries we've already received! — and the winner will have access to the VIP section of the festival."
