A road between Carisbrooke and Newport has been closed as the result of a road traffic incident this morning (Thursday).
Southern Vectis says it has been advised of a crash on Whitcombe Road in Newport.
As a result, route 6 buses are unable to serve Newport High Street, Cedar Hill, Whitecroft (Cox's Corner) or Gatcombe.
Buses will instead divert via Highwood Lane and Blackwater.
