Police On The Lookout For Wanted Man Following Assault

Police on the Isle of Wight have launched an appeal as they try to locate wanted man in connection with an assault.

Officers have been conducting extensive enquiries following a reported incident on November 12th - and wish to speak to 30 year old Nino Cavanagh as part of their investigation.

So far, detectives have been unable to locate him.

He is described as being white, around 6ft 2ins tall, of slim build and with dark brown hair. Police believe he will still be on the Island.

If you have seen him or have any information on his whereabouts, then please call 101, quoting the reference 44230466280. In an emergency, always call 999.

A police spokesperson said:

"We would like to remind anyone found to be harbouring him or deliberately obstructing our attempt to locate him could be committing an offence themselves and be liable for arrest and prosecution."
