No Island Line Service Due To Strike Action

There is no Island Line service today (Wednesday) due to strike action.

Industrial action means all services on the Isle of Wight are suspended tomorrow.

Train drivers who are members of the RMT union, and depot drivers and Island Line drivers who are members of the ASLEF union, will be taking part in national strike action.

A spokesperson for South Western Railway said:

"We are sorry that there will be no service on the Island Line as a result of this strike action.

"If you have purchased a ticket to travel on the Island Line on these days, please see the compensation information below."
