Local Partnership Reflects Green Plans For Isle Of Wight Sunglasses Brand

An Isle of Wight sunglasses company is seeking to continue its work towards becoming more sustainable by joining forces with an Island based courier.

Jake Ellis — founded in 2020 by Island duo Jake Wherry and Ellis Lynas has partnered with Cowes based Acclaim Isle of Wight to provide customers with a faster, greener, and more reliable delivery option.

Jake's manufacturing and engineering background and Ellis' expertise in business and marketing saw products brought to market shortly after the brand was formed, and the ambitious pair say they have big plans for this summer.

A delighted Ellis said:

“This is a massive win for everyone, but we won’t be complacent and want to do more for our customers, the Island and the planet in the months and years to come.

"Thank you to Chris Hall and the team at Acclaim for getting us set up in record time for the season ahead.

Chris Hall, commercial director at Acclaim Logistics, said:

“We are thrilled to be working with Jake Ellis, doing what we do best by providing convenient, local delivery services on the Island.

"Through our dedicated team of drivers, we are able to offer businesses like Jake Ellis a practical solution for Island deliveries.

"These local delivery options make Acclaim Logistics the most environmentally friendly courier choice for Isle of Wight businesses."

Jake Ellis Sunglasses are available online via the official website and in-store at Newport's Visual Impact.
