Isle Of Wight College Still Keen To Help Islanders Hit By Flooding Despite Closing For Storm Ciaran

The Isle of Wight College is still offering flooding help to Islanders, despite the faculty closing for the day.

A precautionary measure sees the College closing its CECAMM (East Cowes) and main campus (Newport) sites.

Staff and students have been contacted with further information, but for those who need to discuss anything, reception will be available via a diverted phone line.

Enquiries can be emailed to [email protected].

This decision wasn't made lightly, but our priority is the safety of our college community.

A spokesperson for the College said:

"To clarify, both college sites will be closed from Wednesday 8pm 1st November, until 8am Friday 3rd November. We hope you all stay safe and warm and are not affected.

"Our offer of public support still stands, and you can book to to advantage of these by emailing [email protected] or calling 526 631.

"Our facilities and food delivery service will be available over the coming weekend on Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 2pm"
