Isle Of Wight College Extends Helping Hand To Flood-Affected Community

The Isle of Wight College says it will stand firmly alongside the local community in the wake of recent flooding.

Offering a range of support services to those affected across the Isle of Wight, the faculty has listed the following areas of commitment to providing assistance to the public — with booking essential:

  • Food Parcels: The college’s dedicated staff and students are preparing food parcels for distribution.
  • Laundry Facilities: Free use of the college washing machines and dryers can be booked on Wednesdays and Thursdays between 5pm and 8.30pm.
  • Hot Showers: Hot showers, are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 8.30pm.
  • Connectivity and Comfort: Free Wi-Fi and a warm cup of tea or coffee are available on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 5pm to 8.30pm.

To access any of these support packages, call 526631 (Option 0) this week between 2pm and 5pm from Tuesday to Thursday.

A spokesperson for the College said:
