The Hundred is heading back to Hampshire this summer, bringing with it four weeks of spectacular entertainment and intense cricket action at the height of the summer.

After two hugely successful years, the competition is set to kick off on Tuesday August 1 at Trent Bridge, with Southern Brave men’s and women’s teams kicking off at Hampshire's Ageas Bowl on Friday August 4.

The Brave will then be back at home for the first of three double-headers on Sunday August 6, taking on Northern Superchargers.

Their final two matchdays will take place on Wednesday August 16 against Birmingham Phoenix and Saturday August 19 versus Oval Invincibles.

Recent years have seen a partnership with BBC Music Introducing bring the likes of Isle of Wight delight Lauran Hibberd to the stage.

More than half a million people attended games during The Hundred’s second year in 2022, including a record-breaking 271,000 watching live women’s fixtures across the competition and more families buying tickets than in 2021.

All matchdays at The Ageas Bowl were sold out last year, with a new record crowd for a domestic women’s match set as nearly 9,000 fans attended Southern Brave v Trent Rockets.

James Vince, Southern Brave men’s captain, said:

"The atmosphere at The Ageas Bowl is always electric for Southern Brave matches.

"The crowd makes a real difference to us, and hearing the chants of 'Green Army' really helps spur us on.”

Lauren Bell, Southern Brave fast bowler, added:

"It has been incredible and to see record crowds for women's matches means a lot to us as players.

"Hopefully next year we can go one better than we did in 2022 and lift the trophy.”

More than 14 million people tuned in to watch The Hundred action in 2022 and games will again be broadcast live on Sky Sports and BBC broadcast and digital channels throughout the competition.
