Great Isle Of Wight Sewing Bee Returning Next Month

Tickets are now available for the annual Great Isle of Wight Sewing Bee.

The event first took place in 2019, hot on the heels of popular BBC 1 series The Great British Sewing Bee, with the Island's version raising more than £400 for Kissy Puppy — The Sophie Rolf Trust.

Hosted by The Sewing Studio, this year's Bee will raise funds for the same charity.

The event sees participants compete to create a piece of work from fabric and clothing donated by Island haberdasheries and charity shops, in just two hours.

The event is being held at Isle of Wight Pearl along Brighstone's Military Road on Friday May 12.

Doors open at 5pm, with the competition officially starting at 7pm.

Tickets for the event cost £10, and can be purchased online.
