Godshill Roadworks Continue After Vehicle Uproots Road Sign

A road on the outskirts of Godshill will be closed over the next two days as a result of a vehicle ploughing into a road sign yesterday morning (Monday).

Just before 9.30am, a single vehicle collision occurred on Shanklin Road.

Damage was caused to the road sign, with the vehicle ending up on the bank.

No injuries were reported.

Island Roads says it will close the road between 930am and 330pm today and tomorrow (24/25).

Diversion signs will be in place to aid drivers during these times.
