Emergency services are in Arreton this afternoon following a crash involving four vehicles, with one person trapped in their car.
Fire crews from Shanklin, Ryde and Newport have been called to the scene on Hale Common in Arreton.
Police have closed the road.
Crews are working to remove the roof of a car to extricate one casualty who has been assessed by paramedics.
The incident took place at around 2.30pm.
