Emergency services have been called to Ryde today (Thursday) after reports of smoke at a primary school.
Fire crews from Ryde, Newport and Sandown were alerted to reports of smoke in the toilets at Greenmount Primary School on St Vincent’s Road at 2.17pm.
The fire involving toilet roll was out when firefighters from Ryde arrived on scene.
Further crews were stood down before the stop message came in at 2.37pm.
