A driver in his 80s has had his licence revoked after a crash in Newport.
The man, who collided with a motorcyclist on Stapler's Road on Tuesday (February 28) subsequently failed a roadside eyesight test.
The biker, in his 20s, suffered minor injuries.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said:
"We were called just before 6.30pm on February 28 to a road traffic collision on Staplers Road in Newport.
"This involved a red Suzuki Liana and a black Yamaha motorbike.
"The motorcyclist, a man in his 20s, suffered minor injuries.
"The driver of the car, a man in his 80s, was given a roadside eyesight test and his licence was revoked."
