A male has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving along with various document offences. The vehicle was also seized.

Isle of Wight Police said:

"The roadside drug test gives us an indication if there are illegal substances in the body that will impair your driving.

"Once in custody, a more formal procedure is completed and blood sample is taken that is sent to a laboratory for analysis. This will give us an accurate reading of the drugs that are in the system.

"We continue to police our road network to remove illegal and dangerous drivers.

"Don’t risk it. If you hurt someone whilst impaired or have the incorrect documents, then you may be given a substantive sentence/fine by the courts."
