Isle of Wight Council has set up two temporary information hubs to support residents impacted by the latest flooding.

Earlier this morning the Environment Agency issued a flood warning for coastal Cowes, East Cowes and tidal areas of the River Medina, including Newport.

The information hubs have now been established at:

  • East side Kerb, opposite East Cowes Town Hall
  • County Hall reception, High Street, Newport

Council staff will be available to provide support and information to local residents.

Given the uncertainties around the weather forecast and the impact of the flooding, opening times may vary between sites and further updates will be issued in terms of when the hubs will close.
