Christ The King Students Mark End Of Era With Ibiza Classics And Conga At School Prom

After six months in the planning, students at Christ the King College enjoyed a night of glamour, fun and entertainment — to celebrate their year 11 prom.

On Thursday June 30, students made memorable appearances at Cowes Yacht Haven, dressed to the nines, for a night of delicious food, photo booth snaps, magic from Aaron Isted and Ibiza classics, courtesy of DJ Trevor.

They arrived in everything from modern sports cars to classic cars — even a lorry. And enjoyed student-named staff mocktails. They even finished the night with a whole-year group conga around the venue.

The dance floor was consistently full all night with staff and students.

The event was organised by the prom committee with a little help from staff.

Christ the King's Miss Godrey, said:

"We are so proud of the maturity shown throughout the evening. And also, a special thank you to the prom committee for their commitment, time and enthusiasm throughout the planning of this event.

"It was an amazing evening, and a great way to celebrate a very unusual five years for this lovely year group.

"We are really looking forward to seeing all of the students on results day in August. We wish the year group all of the best in their future pathways. They will be missed."
