Boat Parts Worth Thousands Stolen In Wootton Burglary

Thousands of pounds worth of boat parts have been stolen during a suspected burglary in Wootton.

It has led to police issuing an appeal for information.

Hampshire Constabulary has said the items, including engines, were taken during an incident on October 10.

The items stolen are:

  • Outboard boat engine – Mariner 3.3 two stroke with neutral and forward gear.
  • Outboard boat engine – Honda 2 four stroke, 1999 year BF2D
  • Petrol driven water pump, yellow in colour with black hoses and pipes and red cast iron non return valve.

Officers said:

"If someone who isn’t a registered dealer tries to sell you a cheap outboard boat engine or other parts in suspicious circumstances, then we encourage you to report this to police."
