Wightlink Evening Sailings Delayed Following Technical Issue

Customers travelling between Fishbourne and Portsmouth on Wightlink’s vehicle ferry service are facing delays this evening (Tuesday), with crossings currently running around 30 minutes behind schedule.

The disruption follows an earlier technical issue involving Victoria of Wight, which required a vessel change.

As a result, the 19:00 departure from Fishbourne will now leave at 19:30.

This comes just days after the cross-Solent operator experienced separate issues with another vessel in its fleet, St Faith.

Passengers booked on afternoon and evening sailings are still being advised to check in for their originally scheduled departure times.

Wightlink has apologised for the inconvenience caused.
