Two Men Released Without Charge After Sandown Incident Investigation Closed

An attempted murder investigation launched after a woman was found seriously injured at a property in Sandown has been closed, with two men released without charge.

Police and paramedics were called to an address on Albert Road shortly after 15:00 on Saturday following reports of an incident.

Emergency crews found a woman with serious injuries to her arm and provided immediate treatment at the scene.

As part of initial enquiries, two men in their 30s were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and taken into custody for questioning.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has since confirmed that both men have been released with no further action being taken.

Police say no offences have been identified following their investigation.
