Three-Vehicle Crash Closes Parkhurst Road In Newport

Emergency services rushed to Parkhurst Road in Newport this morning (Tuesday 30 September) after a collision involving three vehicles.

The incident happened at around 11.25am and led to the closure of the road while crews dealt with the scene.

Police have confirmed that only minor injuries have been reported.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes while the road remains shut.

Parkhurst Road has now reopened, with Southern Vectis running to timetable.
