A Ryde venue is set to cease trading after more than three years, with rising costs and repair issues cited by the owners.
Fubar will close its doors at the end of September, with its final event being the upcoming Steampunk Festival.
A statement released by Fubar said:
"Since we opened Fubar we have been waiting on repairs from the landlord that have not materialised.
"The listed building is deteriorating rapidly and we doubt it will survive another winter.
"So, with a heavy heart, we have decided that our bar adventure is over.
"The rising cost of suppliers and the general cost of living have also played their part in our decision, as most in hospitality will know.
"It's hard work to keep your head above water in this current financial climate. Total kudos to those who are making it work."
Dani Johnson-Harriman, Director, added:
“We have had a wild ride and thank all our performers, customers and staff who have made these last few years a fabulous time that we won’t forget.
"We have some amazing memories. This adventure has come to a close.....on to the next!”
Fubar still has almost two months of events and celebration remaining.
