Police Investigate Assault Reported In Ryde

Police are investigating after a man reported being assaulted in Ryde earlier this week.
Officers were called to Ryde Pier at around 7.30am on Monday (27 October) after a 24-year-old man said he had been attacked a short time earlier at an address on George Street.
The man was treated for an injury to his hand following the incident.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed that no arrests have been made and that enquiries are ongoing.
