Police are searching for a suspect who fled on an e-scooter after allegedly assaulting a man and stealing a mobile phone in Ryde.

Police are investigating after a man reported being assaulted in Ryde earlier this week.

Hundreds of people working for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary were not properly vetted at the time of a recent inspection.

Timothy Andrew Young, of Grange Road, Shanklin, has also been issued a two-year Criminal Behavioural Order
