A new programme of summer courses and workshops has been launched by the Isle of Wight Council’s Adult Community Learning team.

The latest offering includes a wide range of subjects, from arts and crafts to health and wellbeing, as well as free ICT sessions designed to help people build digital skills.

Residents can also take advantage of free online short courses, providing flexible and accessible learning opportunities.

Those interested in signing up or finding out more can visit: www.iow.gov.uk/aclcourses

Alternatively, people can email acl@iow.gov.uk or call 817280 to speak to a member of the team.

The council is also offering careers support for anyone looking to retrain, return to work or develop new skills.

Appointments are available with a qualified careers advisor, who can help with CV writing, cover letters and job applications, as well as offering guidance on education, training and career changes.

Support is also available for those needing help accessing computers or improving their digital skills, with drop-in ICT sessions running on selected Fridays between 9.30am and 12.30pm.

Dates include April 17, May 1 and 15, June 5 and 19, and July 3 and 17. No booking is required for these sessions.
