A new day care facility for dogs could be opening soon on the edge of Ventnor, after plans were submitted to the Isle of Wight Council.
Owner Suzanne Wright has applied to convert Unit 3 at Guido Designs, a workshop on Old Station Road, into ‘Wright Zone Doggy Day Care’.
According to the application, the facility would include main play and enrichment areas, as well as calm and comfy zones, isolation areas, storage, an office, and a reception.
The proposed opening hours are 7.30am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, and the business would employ one full-time staff member.
No Planning or Design and Access Statements have yet been published alongside the application.
The council’s public consultation for the proposal (ref: 25/01551/FUL) closes on 5 December, with a decision expected on 25 December.
