Police Appeal For Witnesses After Sandown Assault

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted in Sandown.

Officers were told at around 4.45pm yesterday (Thursday 6 August) that a 39-year-old man had been attacked on Culver Parade.

He suffered minor injuries to his face.

A 45-year-old woman from Portsmouth was arrested on suspicion of assault following the incident.

She has since been released on bail until Monday 24 August, while police enquiries continue.

Officers are now asking anyone who witnessed what happened, saw anything suspicious in the area around the time, or has relevant footage to come forward.

This could include CCTV, mobile phone footage, dashcam recordings or doorbell camera footage.
