Man Pulled From Sea By Red Funnel Ferry In Southampton Water

A man has been rescued from the sea by the crew of a Red Funnel ferry this morning (Wednesday).


Vehicle ferry services were disrupted after the crew of the vessel spotted the man in the water in Southampton River at just before 6am.


The ferry's rescue boat was quickly launched with the man taken aboard and given first aid.


It's understood he was rushed to hospital in Southampton. There's been no further update on his condition.
