Man Arrested On Suspicion Of Stalking Offence In Shanklin

Police have arrested a 41-year-old man in Shanklin on suspicion of stalking.

Several officers attended a residential property off Victoria Avenue shortly after midday yesterday (Thursday), in connection with an earlier domestic-related incident.

The man, who is from Shanklin, was located at Sibden Mews and arrested.

He was taken into police custody, where he remains at this time.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed the arrest was made as part of its investigation into the stalking allegation.
