An Isle of Wight man has died after drowning while on holiday in Colombia.
30-year-old James Michael Winkles was reportedly taking an early morning swim in the sea off the Caribbean port city of Cartagena when the tragedy happened.
He had travelled to the country around two weeks earlier, arriving on 9 March, and was staying in Cartagena with his newlywed wife and a group of friends.
Mr Winkles, who worked in Ryde, was staying in a luxury hotel in the El Laguito area of the city, a popular tourist and residential peninsula.
His body was found washed up on a nearby beach on the morning of 22 March, after concerns were raised earlier that day.
The Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office says it is "supporting the family of a British national who has died in Colombia".
Further details have not yet been confirmed.
