Isle of Wight businesses will have the chance to speak directly with Wightlink’s business team at a special all-day event in Sandown this week.
The drop-in session will take place on Thursday, March 26, from 9am to 4pm at the Isle of Wight Construction Training Group offices, located at Spithead Business Centre in Sandown.
Members of Wightlink’s business team, including Head of Business Development Kirstie Higgins-Day and her colleagues, will be on hand to meet customers, answer questions and gather feedback over a coffee.
The event follows previous sessions where businesses raised issues that Wightlink says have since been addressed — including improvements to its booking systems, enhanced customer communication during disruption, and plans to introduce better onboard seating for business travellers.
Wightlink says feedback from customers has already led to changes such as a bulk booking service, improved communication channels including WhatsApp updates, and ongoing plans to improve support during delays.
The ferry operator is also planning to introduce business lounges onboard its vessels, with the first expected to launch on St Clare in 2026.
Kirstie Higgins-Day said the sessions are a chance to listen to customers and act on what matters to them, adding that Easter is an ideal time for businesses to prepare for the busy summer period.
She encouraged Isle of Wight firms to drop in, share their views and speak directly with the team about how Wightlink can continue to support their business.
