Visit Isle of Wight is making a final appeal for businesses across the Island to take part in a consultation that will help determine the future direction of the Wight Business Improvement District (BID).
The survey, which closes at midday on Monday 15th June, is aimed at levy-paying and eligible businesses and will help inform plans for Wight BID 3 ahead of a renewal ballot scheduled for October 2026.
Visit Isle of Wight says feedback from businesses will play a key role in shaping priorities, investment decisions, projects and services delivered through the BID over the next five years.
The Wight BID was first established in 2016 and was successfully renewed in 2021.
According to Visit Isle of Wight, the BID generates more than ÂŁ500,000 each year through the levy paid by participating businesses.
The organisation says this funding is supplemented by around ÂŁ300,000 in strategic partnership investment from Red Funnel, Wightlink and Southern Vectis, alongside additional commercial income.
The consultation comes as Visit Isle of Wight begins a new chapter under a newly elected Board of Directors and recently appointed Chief Executive Officer, Dominic Wray.
Mr Wray said:
"The deadline is now rapidly approaching, and we need as many businesses as possible to have their say.
"BID 3 must reflect the priorities, challenges and ambitions of the businesses it represents, and that can only happen if businesses take part in the survey.
"Whether you believe the BID should do more of something, less of something, or focus on entirely new initiatives, this is your opportunity to influence the next five years.
"Every response matters and will help shape the future of the Island's visitor economy."
The survey asks businesses for their views on the current BID programme, future priorities and potential areas for investment and support.
Businesses have until midday on Monday 15th June 2026 to complete the consultation.
