Hovertravel Confirms Christmas And New Year Timetable Changes

Hovertravel has confirmed changes to its timetable over the Christmas and New Year period for 2025/26.

The festive timetable will run from Monday 22 December 2025 until Friday 2 January 2026, with adjustments made to reflect seasonal travel demand.

There will be no Hovertravel services on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day.

From 22 to 24 December, a slightly reduced service will operate, mainly affecting afternoon flights, although services will still begin and end at the usual times.

On 27 and 28 December, Hovertravel will run a normal Saturday timetable, except for the 8am Saturday service, which will not operate.

A revised timetable will be in place from 29 to 31 December, again with fewer afternoon flights but with the usual start and finish times.

On 2 January, a reduced afternoon service will operate, in line with the rest of the festive period.

Hovertravel’s Head of Marketing, Loretta Lale, said the changes allow the company to balance customer demand with giving staff time to spend with family and friends over Christmas.
