Late-Night Sandown Crash Leaves Several Vehicles Damaged

Several vehicles were damaged during a late-night incident in Sandown on Saturday night.

Emergency services were called to The Broadway, between Foxes Close and Avenue Road, shortly before midnight.

A Peugeot 3008 was found to have collided with a wall after mounting the pavement, while a Nissan Pulsar also sustained damage.

Police remained at the scene for several hours, with recovery arrangements made for some of the vehicles involved.

It is understood that a man was detained by officers at the scene.

The full circumstances surrounding the incident, and whether any arrests were made, have not yet been confirmed by Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary.

A damaged black Audi was also seen a short distance away from the main incident during the early hours of Sunday morning.
