One of the UK’s leading stand-up comedians is set to return to the Isle of Wight later this week.

Alistair Barrie will headline Jack’s Comedy Club at the Ventnor Arts Club on Friday 24 April.

A familiar face on the international comedy circuit, Barrie is known for his sharp, satirical style and appearances on shows including Breaking the News, Celebrity Deal or No Deal and BBC Radio 4.

He’ll be joined by a full supporting line-up featuring Duncan Adam, Polly Proud, Des Grant and Tove Falk, with the night hosted by resident compère and organiser Jack Clay.

The event is part of a growing programme of live comedy in Ventnor, with Jack’s Comedy Club regularly bringing a mix of established acts and up-and-coming performers to the Island.

Doors open at 19:15, with the show starting at 20:00. Tickets are priced at £12 for members and £15 for non-members, with the event open to over-18s only.
