Isle of Wight-raised Dame Donna Langley has been presented with BAFTA’s highest honour tonight!

A horse has died after becoming trapped in deep mud in a field on the outskirts of Ryde on Saturday evening.

Hampshire & Isle of Wight Constabulary has confirmed that five teenagers, aged between 15 and 17, have been arrested in connection with the incident.

More than 600 properties in Ryde were left without electricity this evening following an unexpected power outage.
