Police were called to Westridge Cross in Ryde after a white Suzuki Vitara collided head-on with the traffic signal on Brading Road.

The lights have been in place since 3 February, causing significant delays at one of the Island’s key routes.

Police are carrying out enquiries to identify the driver of a van which crashed into traffic lights in Lake late on Thursday night.
