Owners of a Totland Bay B&B are calling for urgent action after raising concerns about fires and disposable BBQs being lit on the beach below their property.

⚠️ Swimmers are being urged to stay out of the water at Totland Bay and Colwell Bay after a pollution incident prompted a bathing water alert from the Environment Agency.

The Isle of Wight Council has urged people to avoid the water and keep children and animals away from affected areas as a precaution.

Five more beach huts will be installed on a picturesque Isle of Wight seafront.
