Southern Water has dismissed claims that a tanker was seen emptying “untreated sewage” into one of its Isle of Wight pumping stations

Concerns have been raised at Isle of Wight Council over a reported incident at Norton Pumping Station.

The project aims to reduce the number of pipe bursts, cut leakage, and minimise emergency repair work.
