Red Funnel has suspended its vehicle ferry service until further notice following a police incident outside its Southampton terminal this morning.

A man has been banned from attending football matches after running onto the pitch during the derby between Portsmouth and Southampton.

The vehicle service operated by Red Funnel will temporarily sail from a different berth in Southampton while maintenance work takes place.

Islanders travelling with Red Funnel can now benefit from an extended free bus connection into Southampton, thanks to a new partnership with Bluestar.
