Lake View Care Home has undergone a major £2.5 million transformation over the past seven months, following its £2 million purchase by English Oak Care Homes.

Two staff members from Bembridge care homes have been recognised at Hartford Care’s annual awards.

Inspectors raised concerns about the condition of the environment, stating that furniture in a first-floor lounge was dirty, including a cushion in the laundry room stained with faeces.

The outing, hosted by Orchard House in Newport, proved a hit with coffee lovers, with Italian-style coffee among the favourites.
