Wightlink has confirmed that a reduced timetable will be in operation on its Portsmouth-Fishbourne route today (Thursday) due to ongoing repair work to one of its ferries.
The cross-Solent operator says the planned installation of a new propeller on St Clare has taken longer than expected after engineers encountered technical issues.
As a result, a 2-boat timetable is being operated throughout Thursday 21st May, with several sailings adjusted and some passengers moved onto alternative departures.
Wightlink says all affected customers have been contacted directly with details of their amended sailing times.
The company has apologised for the disruption and thanked passengers for their patience while the essential work is completed.
St Clare is expected to return to Portsmouth overnight for final repairs and testing, with the vessel planned to re-enter service on Friday morning.
The latest timetable information can be found on Wightlink’s service updates page.
