Vectis Radio Community Awards 2025 Results Announced

The third Vectis Radio Isle of Wight Community Awards ceremony was held at Caffe Isola on Friday (28th March).


Over 90 people were in the Newport Restaurant to witness the awards being presented by The High Sheriff, Graham Biss.


Interval entertainment was provided by Huxley Magic adding to the overall fun of the evening.


Maggie Currie, who organised the event, said:

“This third year of our awards was an amazing success.
"The atmosphere was buzzing and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.
"The support from all the organisations for each other was humbling to see.
“I am so pleased with the success of the event and how it raises awareness of these organisations, a number of which I had never heard of.
"I'd like to thank the panel of independent judges who had a real task on their hands making their choices, and I'd like to thank Stef Burgess from Caffe Isola for sponsoring the event."

Ian Mac, Vectis Radio Station Manager and co-compere for the evening, said:
